Worth the short drive from Ermington
Ermington is about 10 minutes from Sophie’s Cottage by car, along Kissing Point Road. Several of our families make this trip because there are few dedicated preschools for 3 to 6 year olds on the Ermington side of Victoria Road.
What they tell us makes the drive worth it is the size. With only 28 children and 6 educators, your child is known by everyone, and you speak to the same faces at drop-off and pick-up every day.
Children from Ermington go on to schools such as Ermington Public School and Ermington West Public School. Our school readiness program gets them used to a school-length day, a packed lunchbox and learning in a group.

Our full daily fee is $119. Most families pay far less, because the Child Care Subsidy and NSW Start Strong fee relief both come off that fee.

A true preschool for ages 3 to 6
We are not a long day care with a preschool room. Every child here is aged 3 to 6, so the whole day is built around getting ready for school. Read more about preschool versus long day care.
Our Bee group (3 to 4 years) attends at least 2 days a week. Our Butterfly group (4 to 6 years) attends at least 3 days and follows our school readiness program.

We are at 9 Sophie Street, Telopea, about 10 minutes from Ermington by car. There is street parking outside for drop-off and pick-up.
