Close to home, small in size
Dundas sits right beside us. Most Dundas families reach Sophie’s Cottage in about 5 minutes by car, coming up Kissing Point Road and turning into Telopea. If you travel by light rail, we are close to the Telopea stop, one stop from Dundas.
Dundas families often tell us they wanted something smaller than the large centres along the main roads. With 28 children a day, we are one of the smallest preschools in the area.
Children from our Butterfly group go on to schools across the district. For Dundas families that often means Dundas Public School or Telopea Public School, and our school readiness program is designed to make that first day of kindergarten feel familiar.
Quality Preschool Made Accessible
Our full daily fee is $119. Most families pay far less, because the Child Care Subsidy and NSW Start Strong fee relief both come off that fee.
Plus Child Care Subsidy of up to 90% for eligible families.

A true preschool for ages 3 to 6
We are not a long day care with a preschool room. Every child here is aged 3 to 6, so the whole day is built around getting ready for school. Read more about preschool versus long day care.
Our Bee group (3 to 4 years) attends at least 2 days a week. Our Butterfly group (4 to 6 years) attends at least 3 days and follows our school readiness program.
