A true preschool, minutes from Oatlands
Oatlands is just across Pennant Hills Road and Kissing Point Road from us. The drive to Sophie’s Cottage takes about 7 minutes, and it is against the main flow of morning traffic heading to Parramatta.
Oatlands has plenty of long day care, but very few places that take only 3 to 6 year olds. Families from Oatlands choose us because their child spends the whole day with children their own age, in a group small enough that nobody gets lost.
If your child is heading to Oatlands Public School or one of the local Catholic or independent schools, our Butterfly group gives them a full year of school readiness first, guided by our Early Childhood Teachers.
Quality Preschool Made Accessible
Our full daily fee is $119. Most families pay far less, because the Child Care Subsidy and NSW Start Strong fee relief both come off that fee.
Plus Child Care Subsidy of up to 90% for eligible families.

A true preschool for ages 3 to 6
We are not a long day care with a preschool room. Every child here is aged 3 to 6, so the whole day is built around getting ready for school. Read more about preschool versus long day care.
Our Bee group (3 to 4 years) attends at least 2 days a week. Our Butterfly group (4 to 6 years) attends at least 3 days and follows our school readiness program.

We are at 9 Sophie Street, Telopea, about 7 minutes from Oatlands by car. There is street parking outside for drop-off and pick-up.
