Small Classes
We take only 28 children a day, in two small groups: the Bees (3 to 4 years) and the Butterflies (4 to 6 years). Your child is known, noticed and never lost in a crowd.

A Preschool Eastwood Families Travel To
Sophie's Cottage is at 9 Sophie Street, Telopea, a short drive from Eastwood. Most of our families do not live in Telopea. They drive in from Eastwood, Carlingford, Dundas Valley and the suburbs around us, because they want a small preschool where their child is known.

Our Philosophy

Our Curriculum
Children learn through play, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. Each day mixes art, stories, music, early maths, science and plenty of outdoor play. In the year before school, our school readiness program builds the skills children need to start Kindergarten with confidence.
